Return Policy
Oh no! We are sorry to hear that you wish to return your product. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us as soon as you receive your order. We will be happy to find a solution. Items must be unworn, unwashed and with the label and packaging intact to be eligible for return. Returns must include a return authorisation number which will be provided to you. The cost of return postage (to us) will not be covered. Please contact us as soon as possible to initiate the return process.
*All swimwear, cosmetics and items from our sale section are remaining stock.
WHICH ITEMS CAN BE RETURNED/EXCHANGED?
For health reasons, cosmetics, earrings, hair jewellery and swimwear cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect.
We are happy to offer you items at reduced prices, just like you (hopefully) are! Due to our special offers and flash prices, Great Pretenders cannot accept returns of items from our sale section unless they are faulty or inaccurately described.
Returns must be sent back within 14 days of receipt of the goods. Great Pretenders does not provide return labels and does not cover the cost of returning goods.
REFUNDS
Please note that there are generally no refunds on sale items and shipping costs will not be refunded unless the goods supplied had a manufacturing fault (this does happen, and if it does we are sorry and will endeavour to put things right).
All sales of our sale section are final and we are unable to make price adjustments once the order has been placed.
The 14 day returns policy may be extended to 30 days for purchases made between 28 November and 15 December to allow for the holidays!
FAULTY GOODS
All Great Pretenders Products are thoroughly quality controlled and checked for faults before they are dispatched to customers. Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. Please check your items on delivery. Should you receive an item that is not in perfect condition, please contact us immediately.
Note: Ensure to carefully read the 'Care Instruction' attached to your garments. Great Pretenders cannot assume responsibility if care instructions are not followed.
Mistakes do happen, despite our best intentions. If you have a mis shipment, or perhaps a Great Pretenders item that does not live up to our quality expectations, please contact us with pictures and we will do our best to make it right. Please make sure to include images of the product, proof of purchase and a picture of the date/lot code in your initial communication.
Please note we will not issue refunds for items purchased on Amazon, or via an Amazon reseller. Sadly, there are many people selling counterfeit Great Pretenders costumes; to have our customer service, please buy from us directly, so we can be assured that your product was made pursuant to our standards and promises.
Important information
Cosmetics, earrings, hair jewellery and swimwear cannot be exchanged.
Items must be returned new, unused and with all Great Pretenders labels attached. Damaged, soiled or altered returns will not be accepted.
Unauthorised returns will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender. We accept no liability for these goods on return.
Unidentified returns outside the 14-day return period will always be returned to the sender using our standard courier service. You will receive a tracking number by email, but we accept no liability for these returned goods.
Please note: items that are damaged due to wear and tear are not considered faulty.
Repeated returns: All customer returns are reviewed and monitored. Excessive customer returns will be reviewed and may be rejected at our discretion or result in the closure of your Great Pretenders account.
Bypassing free shipping: Customers who have benefited from our country-specific free shipping above a certain order value (see table) and then return items within the 14-day return period will be responsible for the shipping costs. If the order value after return is below the country-specific free shipping, Great Pretenders reserves the right to charge the shipping costs retrospectively.
We refuse any requests to change our return and exchange policy.
